Authentic Resources

Children love real resources and experiences. We aim to create an irresistible learning environment thoughtfully enhanced with authentic objects for children to explore, including items from the natural world. These resources spark curiosity, imagination and bring a unique quality to their play.

Importance of Play

Play is an essential part of childhood and recognised as a human right in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (1989). We value the importance of play and how crucial it is to all areas of their development. We give children time to become deeply involved in their play and follow their interests.

Being in the Moment

Children have a natural desire to learn, explore and discover. We listen to and observe our children closely to enable us to identify and follow their interests. By doing this, we recognise and take the opportunity to extend their interests and learning further right there in the moment. By using this approach, children are motivated to learn and more likely to become deeply engaged and make progress.
